Ben Watson

Ben Watson writes about music with a deliberately argumentative method shaped by close listening, cultural theory, and a long engagement with Frank Zappa's work. Frank Zappa guides readers album by album through recordings that range from the Mothers of Invention and satirical rock to orchestral projects, improvisation, guitar work, and posthumous releases.
