Cathy Cassani Adams

Zen Parenting grew out of a podcast Cassani Adams has made with her husband for years, and its argument is that the work belongs to the parent rather than the child: what a child absorbs is a parent's regulation, not a parent's instruction. She is a licensed clinical social worker and teaches at a university in Chicago, which separates the book from most of the shelf it sits on. The podcast is the ongoing business and the writing sits alongside it.
