Chandler Morrison

Morrison writes extreme horror, and #thighgap is a deliberately repellent satire of Los Angeles beauty culture built around a plastic surgeon and an eating disorder. That genre exists to find out how much a reader will tolerate, and his books sit near the far end of it, which is simultaneously the appeal and the objection. He publishes mostly through small presses serving that market. Anybody opening one should understand that the content warnings on these books are not decoration.
