D.K. Publishing

This is a second hub for the same publisher. DK already appears in this catalogue under its initials, and this term carries The Secret Language of Flowers. DK is a house rather than a person: the books are assembled by teams of editors, designers, picture researchers and outside consultants, and the decision that made its name was photographing objects against white backgrounds with the text arranged around them, which changed how reference books look everywhere. A third term exists here for the travel line. No single author sits behind a page like this, so no biography can honestly be written for it.
