David E.Y. Sarna founded ObjectSoft Corporation and ran it as chairman and CEO. Its FastTake touchscreen kiosks, 259 of them installed by the middle of 2001, let passers-by search film titles, watch trailers and buy other goods and services. He resigned that April; the company closed its doors in July and filed for bankruptcy. Writing, from Teaneck in New Jersey, took over from there. Evernote For Dummies came out from Wiley in 2012 and was revised for a second edition in 2014, covering accounts, clipping web pages, voice notes, scanned paper and keeping it all in step across devices. He had already published History of Greed, which walks through financial fraud from the Dutch tulip bubble to Bernie Madoff, and a technical guide to building cloud computing applications.
