Diana Jayne Woods

Diana Jayne Woods writes contemporary romantic comedy with an Australian setting and a strong interest in professional rivalry. Southern Heaven follows reporters Xanthe and Keegan as they pursue a story in the outback town of Heaven, where competition gradually gives way to affection. The novel reached readers during 2023; ISBN 9781447766322 identifies that edition. Its newsroom premise lets Woods combine workplace tension, travel, local characters, and romance rather than treating the outback merely as scenery. The book is associated with the Black Cat Romance line, while Lulu is also named in its publishing context, making the edition history worth distinguishing carefully. Southern Heaven stands as a compact example of Woods’s light contemporary approach: two ambitious journalists, a remote community, and a shared task that changes how each sees the other. The author credit is Diana Jayne Woods, and the title appears without a subtitle in the identified 2023 editions.
