Dick Teresi

Dick Teresi is a science journalist and editor whose work examines technology, scientific institutions, and unsettled medical questions. In The Undead, he follows changing definitions of death from antiquity to modern intensive care, placing diagnostic history beside debates about consciousness and organ transplantation. Vintage notes that Teresi led Science Digest, Longevity, and VQ as editor in chief and helped found Omni. His other books include Lost Discoveries and the coauthored The God Particle, both selected as notable books by The New York Times Book Review.
