Elizabeth Amber

Elizabeth Amber has published seven historical paranormal romances for Kensington's Aphrodisia imprint, each one named for a man of the Satyr line. Nicholas opened the sequence in 2007, followed by Raine, Lyon and Dominic, who belong to a Tuscan family of the 1820s; Dane and Bastian carry the story to a Roman branch of the 1880s, and Sevin closed the run in 2012. Amber studied art history, and traces the whole invention back to Greco-Roman urns and frescoes painted with satyrs, maenads and Bacchus.
