📚 1 Book ✍️ Folk Horror 📄 PDF & EPUB

Elliott O'Donnell (1872-1965) was an English writer who made a career out of the supernatural, publishing more than fifty books and countless newspaper pieces on ghosts, hauntings and occult lore. Born in Clifton near Bristol to an Irish clergyman father, the Reverend Henry O'Donnell, he was educated at Clifton College, ranched in Oregon, and worked as a policeman in Chicago during the railway strikes of 1894 before settling into the role that made his name. He lectured and broadcast on paranormal subjects on both sides of the Atlantic, and insisted throughout that his own psychic experiences were genuine, though later writers have doubted him.
