Eric Garcia

Eric Garcia is a journalist whose reporting on politics and disability informs We’re Not Broken. Combining personal experience, interviews, history, and policy analysis, the book challenges narrow public narratives about autistic people and asks institutions to listen more closely to the people they affect. Garcia writes from his own perspective as an autistic Latino reporter while examining education, employment, health care, housing, race, gender, and differing support needs.
