Feminista Jones connects social work, public commentary, and digital organizing in a history of Black feminist participation online and in public movements. Reclaiming Our Space examines how Black women have used social platforms to build communities, shape political language, and move ideas from hashtags into collective action. Beacon Press issued it in 2019 as Reclaiming Our Space: How Black Feminists Are Changing the World from the Tweets to the Streets. Jones places recent campaigns within a longer history reaching through abolition, suffrage, civil rights, and contemporary movements, so online activism appears as a continuation of political practice rather than a detached trend. She also addresses the unequal visibility and targeting that accompany public influence. Her experience as an activist and cultural critic gives the analysis a participant's attention to voice, credit, and community formation.
