Author: Francis William Sullivan
Francis William Sullivan (1887-1963) was an American writer of popular adventure fiction who also published under pen names, among them Elwell Lawrence and Frank Williams. His novels ranged from the Hudson Bay fur country to the North Atlantic fishing grounds and the cattle ranges of the West. The best known is The Wilderness Trail (1913), filmed in 1919 with Tom Mix and Colleen Moore in a version now considered lost. Children of Banishment was adapted for the screen the same year.
