Ellora's Cave published Jane and the Sneaky Dom in 2008, and it remains the most widely read of the fifty or so explicit romances Hannah Murray has issued since. The setup is a comedy of eavesdropping: Ian, career military, overhears Jane planning her own reinvention in a crowded cafe and offers himself as the short cut, then finds he does not want the arrangement to stay short. The Sadist and the Brat belongs to her later Perfect Taboo series, where a bet between Jack and Sadie is settled on his terms. Murray writes contemporary romance with the sexual content explicit rather than implied, and has published with romance imprints and on her own account.
