Justin Cronin
Justin Cronin teaches English and creative writing as writer-in-residence at Rice. The City of Mirrors, published in 2016, completes the Passage trilogy after The Passage and The Twelve. Its story returns to Amy and a community rebuilding after a century of darkness while Zero remains a threat. Cronin’s earlier book Mary and O’Neil received the PEN/Hemingway Award and the Stephen Crane Prize. A Whiting Award and a National Endowment for the Arts literature fellowship also recognize his work, which spans literary fiction and large-scale speculative storytelling.
