Kara Thomas

Cold cases are Kara Thomas's hobby as well as her subject; she picks at unsolved ones for pleasure and says she would like to crack one. Little Monsters, published in 2017, drops a girl called Kacey into the small town of Broken Falls to live with a father she barely knows, then makes her the obvious suspect when a new friend vanishes after a party she was not invited to. It was a Junior Library Guild selection. Thomas also wrote The Darkest Corners, The Cheerleaders and That Weekend, and lives on Long Island.
