Margarita Montimore

Oona Out of Order gives a woman a life that arrives in the wrong sequence: every birthday from nineteen onwards drops her into a random year of her own future or past, in a body of that age, with the memories of everything she has lived so far and none of what is coming. Montimore uses it to ask what a life is when the order is removed. She was born in the Soviet Union, raised in New Jersey, and worked in publishing and as a book blogger first.
