Omid Scobie

Omid Scobie covers the British royal family, as royal editor at Harper's Bazaar and as a contributor to ABC News in America. Finding Freedom, written with Carolyn Durand and published in August 2020, follows the Duke and Duchess of Sussex from their meeting to their departure from royal duties, and reports friction inside the household in a level of detail that suggested access. A spokesperson for the couple stated that they were not interviewed and did not contribute to it. Scobie has said the reporting came from people around them rather than from the two of them. He followed it with Endgame in 2023.
