Parth Detroja

Detroja worked as a product manager at Facebook, Microsoft and Google, and Swipe to Unlock came out of explaining to friends how the technology industry actually makes money: why apps are free, what an API is, how ad auctions work, written for people who want to interview for those jobs rather than build the systems. It is deliberately not a coding book. Blockchain Bubble or Revolution does the same for that subject and is unusually willing to say which parts do not work. He wrote both with two former colleagues.
