Zahed edits Animation Magazine and has spent his career reporting on animation for Variety and the Hollywood Reporter, which is how he came to write the official art companions to several films. The Spider-Verse volumes collect the concept work, the colour scripts and the interviews behind a look that changed what a major animated feature was allowed to be.
