Scott Sonenshein

Sonenshein teaches management at Rice University and researches why people with fewer resources routinely outperform people with more, which is the argument of Stretch: that chasing what you lack is usually worse than using what is already in the room. Joy at Work is written with Marie Kondo and applies her method to desks, meetings, email and the decisions a job is actually made of, she supplying the tidying half and he the organisational research behind it. He worked in Silicon Valley before the doctorate and writes for managers rather than for journals.
