Simone Beaudelaire

Simone Beaudelaire writes historical, contemporary, paranormal, and western romance with a consistent interest in capable women and relationships built on mutual regard. High Plains Promise occupies the second position in her Love on the High Plains series, following High Plains Holiday and preceding High Plains Heartbreak and High Plains Passion. Set in Garden City, Kansas, in 1888, it centers on Allison Spencer and a renewed bond shadowed by danger. The historical setting places the relationship within a close family and frontier community rather than treating it as an isolated courtship. Beaudelaire's wider catalogue includes the Victorian sequence that begins with Keeping Katerina, the Hearts in Winter books, and the Maricopa County Shifters series. She teaches composition, literature, and creative writing at a community college and lives on the United States Gulf Coast. High Plains Promise represents the western branch of a varied romance bibliography shaped by recurring families, period settings, and resilient women.
