Sophie Sullivan
Ten Rules for Faking It won Sophie Sullivan a Canadian Book Club Award for best romance, one of thirteen announced on 30 December 2022. St. Martin's Press had published it two years earlier, the first title she signed with that name: Everly, a radio producer who lives with anxiety, catches her boyfriend cheating on her thirtieth birthday and then says so on air, live, by accident. Sullivan is a working name for the Canadian writer Jody Holford, whose cozy mysteries appear under her own, and she has kept a teaching job alongside the fiction. She writes from British Columbia. A Guide to Being Just Friends and How to Love Your Neighbor came later.
