Wladston Ferreira Filho

Computer Science Distilled compresses an undergraduate curriculum into a couple of hundred illustrated pages: complexity, data structures, algorithms, databases, computability.

Ferreira Filho aims it at working programmers who never took the degree and at students who want the shape before the detail, and the diagrams do most of the teaching.

It is a map rather than a textbook and does not pretend otherwise. Anyone needing depth will still have to go to Cormen or Sedgewick afterwards, but they will know what they are looking at.
