Vampires Never Get Old is an anthology Córdova edited with Natalie C. Parker, not a novel she wrote alone. It appeared in September 2020 and gathers eleven young adult vampire stories, among them work by Samira Ahmed, Dhonielle Clayton, Tessa Gratton, Heidi Heilig, Julie Murphy, Mark Oshiro, Rebecca Roanhorse, Laura Ruby and V. E. Schwab, plus one the two editors wrote together. It opened a run of themed collections called Untold Legends. Córdova was born in Guayaquil and grew up in Queens, and her own fiction runs from the Brooklyn Brujas trilogy to The Inheritance of Orquídea Divina. She has written for the Star Wars line as well.
