Crushing It

The second book in Denise Gwen’s series The Girls of Bloomington North is titled “Crushing It.” The protagonist is Mona a high school student who finds it difficult to fit in. She has feelings for two boys who don’t appear to notice her Keith Nelson and Esau Stein. The narrative progresses as she negotiates the difficulties of puberty.
