About this book
Dorothy Dainty at Glenmore is by Amy Brooks. Dorothy was tired with the long ride, and when the brakeman shouted Glenmore the two girls were glad enough to get out upon the platform.
Glenmore the village is a lovely little country place, and Glenmore the school is a rambling, picturesque home for the pupils who came there. The school was once a private mansion whose interior had been remodeled for a small, and select school for girls. Mrs. Marvin is the owner, promoter, and manager of the school, and Miss Fenler is the assistant whom the pupils had come to speak of as the detective. Patricia enters wearing a pretty white dress with a pale yellow sash, no other color, and the text calls it remarkable to see Patricia without at least six colors.
