Eternal Descendants

Emory Gayle’s “Eternal Descendants” is the first novel in the “Eternal Saga.” The main characters of the tale are Mellie, a plant-obsessed lady who struggles in relationships, and Erich, Athena’s bookish son who has vowed never to fall in love because of a prophecy.

Their lives entwine when Erich moves in across the hall, and Mellie finds she is more integrated into Erich’s world than she had previously imagined. They come to understand that love has the power to either save or ruin their lives as they fight against underworld monsters and their attraction.
