H. M. Tomlinson

Henry Major Tomlinson (1873 to 1958) was an English writer and journalist born in London's dockland. He went to sea young and made his name with travel books and essays such as 'The Sea and the Jungle,' bringing a reporter's eye and a poet's ear to ships, rivers, and distant coasts.
