The book is titled God Passes By. The text says a violent controversy was raging in the masjids, the madrisihs, the bazaars, and other public places. The text says the mullás, fearful, envious and thoroughly angered, were beginning to perceive the seriousness of their position.
The text cites Lord Curzon of Kedleston as saying that a vitality which no other impulse could have secured had been imparted to the Faith. The text says the followers of Bahá’u’lláh were multiplying in number and silently gathering the necessary strength. The text says that within the space of the eleven months ending February 28, 1943, over 19,000 books, 100,000 pamphlets, 3,000 study outlines, 4,000 sets of selected writings, and 1800 anniversary and Temple cards and folders had been either sold or distributed.
