The Light of Divine Guidance (Volume 1) is a book of letters by Effendi Shoghi. One letter, headed Letter of 4 December 1923, is addressed to the dearly-beloved friends throughout Germany, and its writer says what a joy it is to correspond with them again and to express, after a long and unbroken silence, warm sentiments of love and affection. A message says all thought and discussion must henceforth centre around the measures required to stimulate the growth of the Faith, to deepen and enrich the spiritual life of its members.
A letter headed Letter of 13 March 1957 says the Beloved Guardian is very anxious to have an up to date record of the total number of Bahá’í Centers in Germany and Austria, separately.
