About this book

Byron Katie presents a practice she calls The Work, using four questions to examine stressful thoughts. Her argument locates suffering in people’s interpretations of events and asks them to investigate beliefs they usually accept without scrutiny. Examples apply the process to family tensions, illness, work and everyday frustration, while explaining how to undertake the inquiry independently.
