About this book
Mozart tells of the composer called Wolferl as a little boy and his sister Maria Anna, known as Nannerl, who was five years older than her brother. The account describes Wolferl, at three years old, listening to Nannerl's playing and watching while Papa Mozart gave her a harpsichord lesson.
The account says Wolferl began lessons at four years old and practised so seriously that nobody spoke to him while he played. The account of compositions mentions pieces short like a song or long like an opera, writing for piano, violin and voice, and the composition of symphonies. The book asks the reader to write a short story about Mozart and his sister and copy the story onto its pages.
