About this book
The contents list daily considerations and prayers for the Holy Infancy, with entries running from the first day through the thirty-first day. The counsel on visiting church urges frequent visits and asks readers to spend some time in the Lord's presence alongside work and life at home. A prayer to Jesus seeks not so much consolation as the grace of greater love and strength to suffer bravely for divine glory and personal sanctification.
The Communion prayer expresses a wish for union with Jesus and, at least, for a spiritual union with him through love and desire. The contents list a commemorative Mass and litanies devoted to the Holy Name and the Infant Jesus among the devotional material.
