About this book
Roy Blakeley's Camp on Wheels, by Percy Keese Fitzhugh, has chapters called The Housing Problem, A Wide-awake Lot, A Wild Night and Somewhere in America. A man asks Roy how the scouts are getting on, and Roy answers that they can't use the lecture room in the church any more. A man suggests that old car as a meeting place, just for a while, till a regular place can be found somewhere, and says it has a stove and seats.
Westy only sits there swinging his legs and kind of smiling at those two, and tells them they are a couple of big cowards. A little man with a cigar in his mouth steps out from the crowd and says you mustn't think you can browbeat these boys, because you can't. A caption reads A LITTLE DOG SCOOTED BETWEEN PEE-WEE'S LEGS.
