About this book
The book offers Fifty Practical Talks with Boys On Life's Big Issues, by Wade C. Smith. The book is adapted from the author's weekly Sunday School Lesson Treatments in The Sunday School Times. The dedication is addressed to her whose instruction and example first inspired in me the purposes and ideals which make for patience, courage, endurance and faith, and names MY MOTHER.
The text describes one more temple builder who, early in his boyhood, learned that the human body, with its wonderful soul, is a temple for God to live in. A talk headed WORK introduces Mr. Work, a member of the most amazingly successful concern in the community, whose senior partner is Mr. Faith. One story is told in the first person: in the twinkling of an eye he was off the spring-board, head downward into the water, and I held my breath and waited for him to rise.
