Charles Frederick Holder

Charles Frederick Holder joined natural-history study to museum work, conservation advocacy, and prolific writing about animals and outdoor life. After assisting in zoology at the American Museum of Natural History, he settled in California and helped establish the Tuna Club of Avalon in 1898.
