About this book
The Celestial Blueprint by Philip José Farmer introduces an artist who likes having an excuse to turn the universe topsy turvy. The offices contain drawings of the human body beside pictures of robots in corresponding postures. The offices display germanium brains and startlingly lifelike statues that breathe, poised on plastiglass.
The Dafesses believe a promise about carrying a sword, while their Elders assure them that the sword will be for the Untruncated. The horde consists of figures named X, each eight feet tall and made of eternalloy covered with plastiskin to simulate flesh. Revanche presses a button aboard his star yacht, and his screen shows the missile he has launched and its target, Da Vincelleo’s ship.
