About this book
The Curlytops Snowed In, or Grand Fun with Skates and Sleds, is a book by Howard R. Garis. The contents list names chapters such as A Letter from Grandpa, A Runaway Sled, Nicknack on the Ice and The Snow House, among others. Janet cries out to Tommie Wilson, looking at her books which had fallen out of her strap, and says See what you did! Other children are hurrying to their classes, waiting for a last slide or falling down in the snow.
Daddy Martin tells a visitor to come right in out of the storm, and a man's voice says it is going to be a regular blizzard. Daddy Martin pulls a note from Nicknack's neck, says it is from someone in trouble, and says the writer, signed The Lame Boy, must be in the snow bungalow the children built.
