The Gospels in Four Part Harmony is a book based on an ancient manuscript known as MS Pepys 2498. The foreword says one copy of MS Pepys 2498 is known to exist and is kept at Cambridge University Library in England. The foreword adds that the original source of MS Pepys 2498 is unknown but that some scholars have theorized that it may be as old as Christianity itself.

The contents list gives entries such as The Widow’s Coin and Jesus Washes the Feet of His Disciples, among others, with references like MK 12:41-44 and JN 13:1b-20. The text records Jesus saying to them again, I am going away, and you will seek me, and will die in your sin. Where I go you cannot come. The text says that the centurion and those with him, who were guarding Jesus, saw the earthquake and the things that had happened, were terrified, and said, Truly this was the Son of God.
