About this book
The Man from Time is by Frank Belknap Long, and a line of introduction says the method by which one man might be pinpointed in the vastness of all Eternity was the problem he tackled. A man named Moonson had tried telling himself that a man could conquer fear if he could but once summon the courage to laugh at all the sins that ever were. The text asks what good was a name that rang out like a summons to battle if the man who bore it could not repeat it aloud without fear.
The text says a scholar traveling in Time had been accepted by his fellow travelers as a man of great courage and firm determination. The text says you couldn't fight men like Mike, who was strong in too many different ways. One speaker says the Bureau of Emotional Adjustment analyzed everything she told them, that a psycho-graph ran to fifty-seven pages, and that a desperate loneliness guided her to someone.
