Henry van Dyke Jr. (1852-1933) was an American clergyman, educator, and author. A Presbyterian minister and professor of English at Princeton, he served as U.S. Minister to the Netherlands and wrote widely loved works including 'The Story of the Other Wise Man' and popular hymn lyrics.
