About this book
What's in the New York Evening Journal, credited to New York evening journal, calls itself a booklet that tells what is in the paper and why it has had the largest evening newspaper circulation in America for Twenty-Nine consecutive years. A section on accuracy gives the slogan of the news gathering staff as "Get it First, but first get it Right". The entry for William A. Curley, Editor, says he was born on Manhattan Island and was for many years active in newspaper work in New York City.
The booklet reports that experts throughout the Sporting World say TAD is the greatest sporting cartoonist of all time. The entry for W.M. Corum, Sports Expert, says the Sports column by Bill Corum is the best of its kind on any Sports Page in America. The booklet states that one announcement on the Cooking Page brought 14,000 letters from readers to Ruth Mason.
