A.G. Riddle

Riddle built and sold internet companies before he wrote anything, then self-published The Atlantis Gene in 2013 and found several million readers without a publisher. Winter World opens The Long Winter, in which the sun begins to dim and two people who have each been pushed out of their institutions are sent up to find out why. The science is a vehicle rather than the point; the books move quickly and are built to end every chapter on a hook.
