The Complete Book of Discipleship, published by NavPress in 2006, is a manual for church leaders rather than a devotional: it sets out what Bill Hull thinks discipleship is, why he believes most congregations have replaced it with attendance, and how to build a programme that does otherwise. Hull pastored churches in California and Ohio for around twenty years before moving to writing and training full time, and his earlier titles include Jesus Christ Disciplemaker and The Disciple-Making Pastor. He co-founded The Bonhoeffer Project, which trains pastors in the same material and charges for the courses.
