Chelsea Cameron

Chelsea Cameron writes contemporary and paranormal romance, with series that follow young characters through friendship, identity, and changing relationships. Nocturnal opens the Noctalis Chronicles and introduces Ava, whose encounter with the mysterious Peter reveals a supernatural world governed by dangerous loyalties and unfamiliar rules. The sequence continues through Nightmare, Neither, and Neverend, allowing the central conflict and supporting relationships to develop across four books. Cameron's wider bibliography includes My Favorite Mistake, Deeper We Fall, For Real, and several contemporary romances featuring queer protagonists. Nocturnal represents the speculative side of that catalogue, using a small-town setting and first-person viewpoint to keep its supernatural premise close to ordinary family and school pressures. Cameron's series structure gives consequences room to carry forward rather than resolving every change within the opening volume. The novel therefore serves both as Ava's introduction and as the foundation for the mythology of the later books.
