Elliott Kay

Elliott Kay writes military science fiction, space opera, and urban fantasy. Dead Man’s Debt and Rich Man’s War belong to his Poor Man's Fight sequence, which follows Tanner Malone through the economic and political pressures surrounding the Archangel star system. Rich Man’s War is the second main volume, while Dead Man’s Debt is the third volume. Kay's website sets the novels beside later books in the same universe. His background includes studying history, serving in the U.S. Coast Guard, and teaching high school. Those experiences inform fiction concerned with institutional power, personal debt, military service, and the choices made by people caught inside much larger systems.
