Eva Priest

Eva Priest writes paranormal and science-fiction romance and also publishes as Evangeline Priest. Bonded opens the Earth 4040 sequence, with Adrift continuing it. The first story places Priya inside a three-person pilot bond needed to guide a living spacecraft. Because the vessel is not inert machinery, communication and compatibility become essential to navigation. The arrangement gives the romantic relationship an occupational consequence: distrust among the linked crew can affect far more than private feeling. Priest's paranormal interests move into a distant-future setting through the Earth 4040 books. Bonded divides its pilot team into mind, heart, and soul roles, distinguishing forms of attention instead of presenting connection as instant agreement. The story combines speculative world-building with a romance organized around cooperation. As the sequence's starting point, it establishes living ships and bonded crews as a framework that later stories can revisit from different angles while keeping this crew's choices central.
