Linda Chapman

Linda Chapman has created a substantial range of animal and fantasy stories for children. In Nosy Crow’s Forever Homes series, nine-year-old twins Grace and Jack try to match pets with suitable families. A Forever Home for Luna features a kitten frightened by loud noises, A Forever Home for Fluffy follows a pampered kitten with an unexpected skill, and A Forever Home for Bella centres on a Labrador puppy who enjoys company and stories. Sophy Williams illustrates the sequence throughout, giving each short chapter book a consistent visual identity. The books’ gentle problems and recurring rehoming service make them accessible connected stories for newly independent readers.
