A booke called the Foundacion of Rhetorike was published in 1563, and only five copies of the original are known to exist. The book says Zeno the Philosopher compares Rhetorike and Logike and likens them to the hand of man. The book says Rhetorike is like to the hand set at large, wherein euery part and ioint is manifeste.
The book says Logike has deepe and profounde knowlege, reposed and buried in it. The book tells of Zopyrus, one of the .vij. noble Peres of Persia, seeing the danger of the countrie. The book advises Staie thy self and thyne vpon Gods prouidence.
