About this book
A Sea Queen's Sailing is a book by Charles W. Whistler. The preface says few words of introduction are needed for this story, excepting such as may refer to the sources of the details involved. The contents list chapters including The Old Chief And The Young, Men Of Three Kingdoms, Homeward Bound and A Sea Queen's Welcome.
One of the men shouts, "Pay for them, then," and Asbiorn says at once that he claims them for his share. The text describes a wonderful morning after the storm, with the coast of the mainland across the narrow strait seeming close at hand. A cross of light is described shining out on the blackness of the cliff above the hall, tall and bright and clear. A narrator asks Gerda what that is, and is told, "We were wont to call it Thor's hammer."
